Shipping policy

Clear, accessible information for customers, partners, and project teams.

At Strata Railing LLC, shipping times and delivery methods may vary depending on the product type, supplier, inventory availability, customization requirements, and delivery location.

Order Processing

Processing times vary by product and supplier. Standard in-stock items may process faster, while custom, fabricated, cut-to-length, powder-coated, imported, special-order, or project-based products may require additional lead time.

If an item requires extended processing or supplier confirmation, we will contact you with available updates when possible.

Shipping Rates and Delivery

Shipping rates may vary depending on product size, weight, destination, shipping method, supplier, and whether the item requires standard parcel shipping, freight shipping, or special handling.

Some large, oversized, heavy, custom, or project-based items may require a separate shipping quote before the order can be finalized.

Tracking Information

Customers will receive tracking information when available. Tracking details may be sent by email after the order has shipped or once the carrier provides shipment information.

Please note that tracking updates may take time to appear after a shipping label is created.

Custom, Special-Order, and Imported Products

Custom, fabricated, powder-coated, cut-to-length, imported, special-order, and supplier-direct items may require additional lead time before shipping.

Lead times are estimates only and may change due to supplier availability, production schedules, freight delays, customs processing, or other factors outside our control.

Freight Shipments

Some products may ship by freight carrier due to size, weight, or product type. Freight deliveries may require an appointment, business address, loading dock, forklift, or liftgate service.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and ensuring someone is available to receive the shipment when required.

Shipment Inspection

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

Before signing any delivery receipt, customers should carefully check the packaging and product condition. If visible damage is present, it must be documented on the delivery receipt before signing.

Visible freight damage must be noted clearly with the carrier at the time of delivery. We also recommend taking photographs of the packaging, product, and damage before the shipment is moved or unpacked.

Damage Claims

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible. Damage claims should be submitted within 5 business days of delivery and should include:

  • Order number or proof of purchase
  • Clear photographs of the damaged item
  • Clear photographs of the packaging
  • Delivery receipt or freight documentation when available
  • A brief description of the issue

Claims submitted without proper documentation may be delayed or denied by the carrier or supplier.

Shipping Delays

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Strata Railing LLC is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, freight companies, suppliers, customs, weather, labor disruptions, incorrect shipping information, or events outside our control.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at the time of order. Additional costs caused by incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, refused shipments, re-delivery, storage fees, or address changes may be the customer’s responsibility.
